Imvula Securities is a partnership between the Maharishi Institute (MI) and African Alliance Securities Trading an FSCA registered company. Imvula Securities, a level 2 BEE firm, is a South African stockbroker trading for both local and international institutional clients in equities on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Founded in 2022 with offices based at the Maharishi Institute in Johannesburg, Imvula is a best execution stock broker which will support MI through profits made. Being based at the MI also allows the business to train students in operations, trading and compliance at alive stock broker enabling students to leave University with real practical experience.
Imvula, is the first of its kind in Africa and possibly the world. A commercial stock broking firm based in a University helping to fund the University and an NGO. Imvula is the real reason Black Economic Empowerment was established in South Africa with proceeds having tangible real life results in funding previously marginalised students and the University.
